Grandpa Greg's passing saddens me very deeply, and I know my children, Andrew and Callie, are heartbroken. Grandpa Greg was a frequent visitor to our house when they were growing up and have so many wonderful memories of their grandpa and Grandma Carol. I'm so glad they experienced such closeness to their grandparents while they were young. Not everyone is blessed with that. Callie and Andrew learned how to be compassionate and generous and kind by the examples their grandparents gave them. I'll always be grateful to them for being my 2nd parents for 26 years and for the fun and the laughs and love we all shared while I was part of the Brimeyer family.
I smile at the thought of the reunion Greg and Carol had in Heaven. The devotion and love they shared were very evident while they were with us on earth. Memories of them will remain with us as long as we live.

Uncle Greg was such a gentle soul. He always had a story to tell about his time on the home farm growing up. Family and faith was so important to Greg, he would light a candle at the Basilica in Dyersville for the entire extended family, every week. Greg's smile and laugh touched everyone he spoke to. Greg was loved by so many and will be missed greatly.
