Bev was born June 25, 1951, daughter of Elmer and Edna (Klostermann) Tegeler.  Bev graduated from Beckman Catholic High School in 1969.  She married Michael Boeckenstedt on August 29, 1970, in Dyersville and they resided in Dyersville until building a house on their acreage in New Vienna.  Over the years, Bev worked at Ben Franklin, Dyersville Spec-Cast, and Sewing Contractors.  Her most cherished title was mother, grandmother, sister and friend.  Bev loved and cherished her family and was proud of all their accomplishments. She was so excited to hear of Libby's recent engagement.  She welcomed her two sons-in-law and any significant others as her own children and grandchildren.  She was a generous and kind soul who found joy in helping others.  If cookies or desserts were needed, Bev was sure to be there with something delicious.  Bev enjoyed celebrating all holidays, sending cards to her grandchildren for every holiday and occasion.  She especially loved celebrating Christmas.  She knew just what gifts to give and she made sure that there was plenty of food for all.  She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.  She touched the lives of many with her kindness, generosity and love for family and friends.  We find comfort and peace in knowing that her and Mike are now reunited in heaven.

To honor Bev please say or do something kind for your family and friends.

Survivors include her daughters: Julie (G.J.) Clothier of Epworth and Jan (Marty) Schwers of Luxemburg;

grandchildren: Libby (fiancé Koner Frandsen), Spencer (Lauren Ryan) and Mitchell (Charley Wulfekuhle) Schwers, Ellie and Olivia Clothier; in-laws: Don (Ruth) Ungs, Richard (Judy) Boeckenstedt and Larry (Darlene) Boeckenstedt and Marilyn Brimeyer.

in-laws: Lee Boeckenstedt and Melvin Brimeyer.
