Hi Bob,
We think about you frequently and your infectious smile and sense of humor. You taught us so much over a lifetime of learning and we are so grateful for it. The memories from childhood are so vivid and strong, the adventures hunting, fishing, flying in the Helicopter to the face of Mt Rushmore in the 60's, etc, all so colorful still. The Black Bear in the original Office Tap, Turkey hunting along the upper Iowa River, going on vacation in the Lincoln Mark V with you and Dolly, etc, all precious memories. And of course the last Office Tap and Dolly's famous chicken, and all of the people touched there in Dyersville and the surrounding area over a lifetime of 89yrs.
Looking at your paintings brings a smile and an echo of your laughter in the background. You and Dolly were such strong figures in our lives and touched us deeply, giving us virtues, strength and a sense of honor that will never be forgotten.
Thank you for being in our lives and letting us share in yours, it was a wonderful journey.
We miss you greatly, Love, your family. :)
