Blessings of peace, laughter, tears, joy, sadness, and prayers as you gather to bid dear Maria farewell in this life and to welcome her to Eternal Life. I met Marie when I ministered at Sacred Heart School 1983-87. She painted my parent's family farm on one of my Dad's old saws. My sister, Arlene has it hanging in her sunporch with many other mementoes from the family farm. I think of Marie every time I gaze on her creative art work of the farm. Kahnie Jaeger - Houston, Tx Jerry snd family , where do I begin ? Maria was a one of a kind . A true sweetheart with the Italian flair . I remember most her laugh , to which we shared often in the days of Theisens. My ex husband in Monticello snd Jerry in Anamosa . Oh the memories ... you have my most sincere sympathy and are in my prayers . I’m sure Maria is catching up with her mom and dad and in laws . God chose a true Angel.

Truly a work of art,Maria was just that and the absence of her will be forever noted. She shared her life with so many of us and her rich heritage brought forth this wonderful woman. Her spirit and vigor was so evident when she told of her travels and all of her life's achievements. She let us in on some of life's troubling moments with determination and ludicrous things. Maria was a member of the FBI translated Full Blooded Italian and this was her. Her journey homeward and reception will be the ultimate ecstasy. So sorry for you who are bereft of her and know that Maria is the happiest forever and we will meet again.
